Iron Chef
This competitive cooking experience is based on the popular Food Network television show, "Iron Chef." With this challenge, teams are broken into small groups to plan and prepare a 3-course meal. Each team competes from their own cooking station. All ingredients are provided in raw form, as well as a "secret ingredient" that must be incorporated into each course. The teams are timed, the meals expertly judged, and in the end, participants are able to recognize and apply new ways of working together.

As Capstone's business grew, so did its need to have more effective collaboration on its high-performing teams. Not knowing what kind of team structures to create, Capstone engaged BTC to design an experience that would: a) help determine the best team structures given the nature of their business, and b) provide a way for teams to practice working together in that new dynamic. The Iron Chef experience was the ideal solution. Working together to prepare a 3-course meal, members of the new teams rapidly got in sync with each other and with a new way of working. Providing both group and individual analyses, BTC was able to deliver a fun, effective, and enduring solution for Capstone.
