Project Reel
An experience inspired by HBO's "Project Greenlight" - where aspiring filmmakers are given a chance to make their feature film debut - BTC's Project Reel equips business teams with the gear and the know-how to create their own short videos in just a few hours. With ample facilitation, participants are engaged to create a short video that brings to life a specific business challenge or opportunity. Teams divide and conquer the challenge - with individual team members serving as writers, actors, directors, and camera operators based on their own individuals skillsets and interests. Once the footage is shot, each video is professionally edited on-site and presented in a "film festival"-type atmosphere for all teams to watch, learn, and enjoy.

Takeda Pharmaceuticals presented an ideal forum for BTC's Project Reel experience. Designed as the final part of their multi-day, immersive on-site Leadership training program, Takeda's District Mangers were split into teams and enlisted to create a short video that would serve as a "film trailer" for the organization's Leadership program for new District Managers. Teams divided up the different, necessary tasks, captured their footage, and handed it over to professional on-site editors to bring it all together. The individual films were presented film festival-style and reviewed by a panel of judges who awarded top prizes to the teams. The experience not only served as a terrific, collaborative, cross-functional learning activity, it helped each participant fully review and digest the core tenets of the learning program itself.
