Conflict Management
Conflict is a natural part of life. Moment to moment, differences arise in people's interests and desires that evoke strong feelings. This custom, full-day workshop is designed to educate executives, managers, and employees how to resolve conflict within a framework that promotes collaboration and the preservation of crucial relationships. The morning is about learning what styles and tools are best used to manage and resolve conflict; the afternoon then creates experiences whereby individuals can apply those tools to real-life situations so that all attendees walk away with concrete, ready-to-use tools and techniques.

BTC recently conducted a successful Conflict Management experience for DSCR. This 1-day workshop used a TKI assessment to help identify the conflict modes supervisors used most often, created an environment of practice using a wider variety of conflict resolution strategies, and helped supervisors have more effective dialogues with their teams. BTC's redesign of the Mutual Expectations Agreement helped achieve a 95% compliance rate. DSCR observed an increase in worker productivity as well as a significant drop in the amount of time supervisors spent refereeing employee conflict.
